Well Howdy!
Hope this week has been a good one!
This week has been great. We have been talking to everyone in the streets and just loving the slightly cooler weather (105 degrees instead of 115).
Miracles surround us each day. If we work for them God always gives them to us!
Here are some spiritual thoughts for this week!

"If He can, God will give you what you want. When He can't give you what you want He'll give you something even better... Though you may have to wait till' the eternities to get it"
(Paraphrased) -Jeffrey R. Holland

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Casual is the root of the word casualty
A casualty=someone injured or killed in an accident
Don't become a casualty by starting to be casual in your prayers, scripture reading, or church attendance. Being casual is the start of certain disaster.

A high-council brother gave a talk about Christ-like change and here are my notes...

"I know you didn't come here today to hear me speak. You came to partake of the emblems of the Savior and commit to remember Him more fully...so I pray that I will not impede the spirit today...

"There may be a list of outstanding things that we feel may not be right in our life...
But this I know...
Eternal change always seeks for the course that God has laid before us."

"In terms of the Lord's invitations let's not wait until it's too late."

"The Lord is not concerned with the temporary... His mission is eternal and sometimes it's easy to lose perspective."

Alma 29 is an amazing chapter! My sister Elyssa encouraged me to read it this week and it was certainly an inspired invitation by her. Give it a read and let me know what you think!

That's all folks!
With Love,
Sister Zimmerman
